'Memories of Lake Windermere'
I commissioned a special painting by Maggie Stannard, "Memories of Lake
Windermere", as a wedding gift for my friend. Maggie responded promptly by
sending ideas to me, and incorporated my requirements into the finished
painting beautifully, working within my budget. There was plenty of
opportunity to make suggestions and view progress before the painting was
finally varnished. Maggie also sent through proof of postage and the
painting arrived exactly as expected today. I am now considering
commissioning another painting for my own home as it will be a wrench
handing this one over!

The gentleman that purchased this picture was so keen to get it quickly that he drove from where he lives in Reading to me in Essex. He was very pleased with the painting and also purchased some notelets created using the image of his painting.
