Sunflowers were famously painted several times by Vincent van Gogh and the bright yellow sunflower continues to be a favourite flower amongst contemporary artists who use a range of art media to capture its vibrancy including coloured pencil, photography, acrylic, oil, watercolour, pencil, mixed media and gouache. There are traditional landscapes of golden yellow fields of sunflowers in the summer sun and eye-catching modern art of sunflowers in all styles.

There are original paintings, drawings and photographs of the sunflower as well as open edition and limited edition prints. Some originals either do not require a frame, for example box canvas or wood panels, or have already been framed for you. Others are left unframed deliberately so that you can choose the framing to suit your interior. Flower photography and art prints are usually sold without a frame but may be ready mounted.
