My Mini Gallery™ Application

If you have already prepared your text and images it is usually possible to complete the application form in one go in less than an hour. You may prefer to work gradually in stages so we allow a fortnight to give you plenty of time. Good text content and photographs of your art which do your work justice are invaluable.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

To start on 1st December 2009 the application deadline is Monday 23rd November 2009.
To start on 1st January 2010 the application deadline is Friday 18th December 2009.

It may be easiest and safest for you to prepare and save your text elsewhere such as in a NotePad or Word file before completing this step.

Mini Gallery™ provides artists with plenty of space for text. Our website visitors often like to know more about the artist behind the artwork and the processes involved and good text is vital for generating search engine traffic.

To start you off we have a few boxes on this page for you to begin with, please write in first person narrative i.e. "I enjoy creating sculptures of cats..." rather than "John Smith paints in..." You can also see how other artists have used their Mini Gallery™ website to get an idea of what you might like to write.

Step 3 - Artwork image files for your online gallery

Return to Step 1 ~ Return to Step 2

On this page you can upload 5 images of your artwork to support your application.

You can use .JPG or .GIF or .PNG files.

Remember that the bigger the file is, the longer it will take you to upload - we recommend uploading files no larger than 5MB. Please ensure that all images are saved using the highest quality setting and are not compressed. Low quality images will be rejected.

IMPORTANT
Please make the images at least 500 pixels in width or height and cropped so that they are straight, well lit, and contain only the actual artwork without shadow effect, mount, frame or any background if it is a 2-D artwork. If you are displaying multi-part artworks such as triptychs please add a little pure white graphic filler space between parts before uploading the photo.

If your application is successful these images will be the first to appear in your Mini Gallery so it is important your artwork is well presented.
