About us

Mini Gallery highlights so far (2002 - 2007)

Mini Gallery is an award-winning online gallery website which showcases a fantastic range of affordable original art and prints for your home and office.

There are currently more than 10,000 pieces of contemporary art for sale online by over 400 talented new, emerging and established artists who each have all-inclusive annual membership and self-manage professional online gallery space.

Mini Gallery is wholly owned and run by Hazel Semple, 27, a website designer & artist and Chris Storey, 27, a website developer.

The idea developed in response to enquiries from artists who found that they were not able to realise the potential of the Internet for publicising their art. The website now offers unique facilities allowing artists to make the most of technology to promote and sell art online.

The website was first created in November 2002, developed over several months and was subsequently relaunched in June 2003. Since relaunch there have been over 2 million website visitors with art sales to places across the UK as well as to Europe, USA, Canada, Australia & New Zealand. We have a growing number of happy shoppers who have been delighted with their Mini Gallery purchases. As well as sales and commissioned work the site has also brought many other opportunities for the member artists - read their comments here.

Mini Gallery is featured in the December 2006 issue of 'Woman & Home' magazine.
