Tracey Wood
Artist's Biography

I was born in 1961, I am a Yorkshire girl and live/work in Idle Village, West Yorkshire. Home of the world famous 'Idle Working Men's Club', with my husband, two children, one cat, three rabbits and three guinea pigs.
Although I dabble at pencil, pen and ink, charcoal, water colours, acrylic and mixed media, etc. I have found soft pastel to be my passion. I love the depth, the range of colours and (I must admit) getting messy. I draw animals of any kind mostly, but I also love flowers and occasionally draw scenes.
I am also a keen (automatic) digital photographer and constantly take photos to draw from, I would love at some point in my busy life to learn more about photography, play the piano and be fluent in French - maybe one day.
You can find my main website at, www.traceywood.mfbiz.com and I am a gold member of the SAA.
I am currently attending Skipton Art and Craft Fair, once a month as a base for my art, as I work from home at present, and it is lovely to meet people and draw in public, I always get lot of nice comments - Thank you.
