About My Art

I probably get the most pleasure from drawing animals of any kind. I love to draw pets, farm animals and wildlife, I also enjoy the odd floral or landscape challenge.
Pastel drawings are so rich in colour and depth, I get great pleasure in drawing some one's special pet and also draw for my own pleasure.
When drawing commissioned pictures (mostly pets and wildlife), I use a mixture of soft pastels on senellier pastel card and mount/back the finished drawing with acid free board for their protection, they are then ready to frame. I usually draw and mount my commissioned work to standard sized frames, giving people the choice of buying ready made or bespoke frames.
I also love to draw wildlife for my own pleasure and I am currently preparing a small range of prints and cards from my original work.
I am planning to hold an exhibition at Shipley Library, November 5th to 10th.
