Artist's Description

Ruby Sunset is an original painting in acrylic on a deep edged box canvas. All sides are painted and it is ready to hang. It comes signed and complete with a certificate of authenticity and a metal hanging device fitted at the rear for ease of hanging. Lots of layers of paint built up with a palette knife create and interesting background. Topped with further layers of paint laid with both a brush and a palette knife adding the image. Dark brown lower half, the top half is a kind of mink/deep creamy beige with a pinky gold lustre added by means of a glaze. Thick paint in several different reds make up the middle part of the painting, some of which is glazed with a gold lustre. A very contemporary minimalistic painting suitable for a modern home.
