Finding a small cove or tiny rock pool reveals an abundance of starting points for some of my decorative paintings and this is no exception!
Soft pastel greens, lilacs, teal, greys and hints of pink pebbles are set against a dark green background. The relief qualities of the Pebbles are overlaid with silver metallic acrylic to enhance texture and form in this decorative semi abstract painting.
This painting is currently exhibited at The Fishmarket Gallery in Northampton. The exhibition will run until the end of November 2008.
I use System3 acrylics which have a wonderful creamy consistency and cover the canvas extremely well.
All of my paintings are protected with several coats of good quality matt varnish.
This painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and my latest brochure which has information about my work and current exhibitions.
I pride myself on my packaging. All of my work is wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap which is then protected with sheets of card which I buy from a packaging company. Finally, the work is then wrapped in polythene sheets to protect it in transit.
