My garden is always a great source of inspiration.
Old 'crazy paving', tumbling shrubs and flowers, hold an abundance of colour and texture.
A range of vibrant blues and greens are overlaid with a wash of liquid silver leaf to emphasise the highly textural qualities of a garden in this unique and decorative painting. The paving slabs are painted silver and have blues and blue green washes applied to give a lustre effect.
This painting is currently exhibited at The Fishmarket Gallery in Northampton. The exhibition will run until the end of November 2008.
The foundation for this work is Gallery Stretched Box Canvas which means that there is no need to frame - the painting is ready to hang immediately
