This is a small 3 panelled screen, oil on linen. It is a celebration of plants and flowers, the composition could also be seen to have religious overtones - or simply a relationship between different forms of leaf and flower. The plants used are exotic and the background is a luminous blue.
The sides of the screen are finished with satin ribbon and the back is upholstered in a cream, plain cotton material. It has six painted wooden bun feet and metal hinges.
The artist also makes screens to any size by commission.
