Pencil drawings - a rare and often over-looked art form in today's art scene. Few artists stick with it because art galleries will usually say they love your work, and then in the same breath ask what else can you do? Personally speaking, very frustrating but pencil still remains my favourite medium.
So here I have another of my dreamy, fantasy portraits with a native american indian influence. It depicts a beautiful naked girl sitting on an old bearskin rug, daydreaming. But her dreams, like ice in the sun, will melt away. Completed with graphite pencil on Bristol board this piece will be presented bevel mounted, ready for framing.
