In the relationship between the Indian and his natural world, all natural phenomena have souls independent of their physical beings. Under such a belief, the wearing of sacred objects is a source of spiritual power. Any object, perhaps a stone, a part of an animal, the wing of a bird, could contain the essence of the metaphysical qualities of the objects and desired by the Native American. In this painting which portrays the relationship between the Indian and the wolf, I think I've captured the power of the wolf in the warrior's eyes making a stunning and powerful image.
Painted with watercolour onto textured 140lb paper, this original artwork will be supplied bevel mounted ready to be framed. It can be framed upon request.
