Artist's Biography
I was born in Lancaster in 1980 and have recently moved to Preston where I currently reside.
Having always loved art and anything remotely creative, from photography to painting to sculpture to the creative and artistic merit of cars, fashion and architecture.
It wasn't surprising when I took up the paints and brushes and started to create works for myself.
Whilst I didn't study art at school or college, I don't believe this to be a disadvantage to me or my work. The creative bug is still there, its just being brought out later on in life.
Though haven't been painting long, only picking up the paints in 2005, I have completely fallen in love with it. I love the whole process, from setting up my work area, to the actual act of painting, to sitting back and viewing the finished piece.
The whole process combines to make painting such a fun and enjoyable thing to do, and I often find myself losing track of time, lost in my work.
I hope to be painting for many years to come, long into old age. I have that many ideas in my head it may take that long to get them all out.
