Artist's Biography
I have lived and worked as an artist, writer and sculptor for many years. Recently I have become increasingly preoccupied with the visual art aspect of my work.
My wife and I have spent the last year living in a remote farmhouse in the Yorkshire Dales, where I have dedicated myself full time to my artwork, finding inspiration in the bare hills and fells of the area. Since working on my paintings full time, I initially sold my work privately. However, I am now trying to reach a wider audience via displays, exhibitions in galleries and on line in virtual galleries as well as my website.
This has been a time of renewal for both of us. We have now returned to the south to be back amongst friends and relatives. Another beautiful cottage, this time in Suffolk. Where we are living now is not quite so remote but it is still delightfully rural, with rolling fields lined with ancient, sculptural trees. The area has a timeless quality about it with small villages each with its own beautiful medieval church. We hope to be here for awhile where I have peace and quiet to produce my art.
