Artist's Description

'Walkways' Oils on 24" x 18" x 3cm deep box canvas.
This is a local scene of wooden walkways and jetties at the waterfront here in Tollesbury. I have again tried to place this piece between impressionism and abstraction with the colours, dramatic verticals and diagonals reoresented with broken colour, being the subject. I first did the oils sketch for this painting last June but have only just got round to transferring it to canvas!
