Michael Batty
 I come from County Durham in England. I started painting 17 years ago when I was 19. I paint in a fairly impressionistic, loose and colourful style, usually in watercolours, as it is my preferred medium, but sometimes in acrylics or oils. Recently I have also started using pastels in my work, mainly as a second medium on top of a watercolour base. I sell mainly original artworks, at very low prices.I have sold over 300 paintings so far, to people in many parts of the UK, and also to people in the US, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Begium, Switzerland and Greece. If you like my style of painting then I take commissions of houses, buildings or landscape views or any other subject. I charge £35 for a commissioned 12x9 inch watercolour and £50 for a 16x12 inch watercolour. Please contact me if you require other sizes or media. For paintings of portraits and pets I prefer to use acrylics.  |
