This is a view across Wadenhoe Meadows in the Nene Valley in the early evening of a fine May day. The sun was just about to go down only just lighting up the top of trees and bushes and a soft mist rising from the river ,bathing the meadows in an almost ethereal light. In the distance the church tower of All Saints Church in Aldwinkle can be seen rising above the misty landscape.
