Artist's Description

Having recently visited this beautiful city, I had to paint it while it was still fresh in my mind. The view is from the Piazzale Michelangelo across the Arno river with the amazing bridge the 'Ponte Veccio' in the foreground. The colours were soft and warm, giving the city a romantic atmoshere as it stretches away into the distant tuscan countryside. It was painted on Arches Watercolour paper with high quality Watercolour paint and comes in a cream mount.
