Artist's Description

This is one of a series of experimental, semi abstract flower paintings. They were created by letting the paint blend together on a very wet background and then 'finding' flower shapes and developing them further by painting negative shapes around them. The result is a range of subtle shades and colours with some hard and some soft edges.
