One of a series of paintings produced for the Red Hen Artists' Brighton May Festival 2008 exhibition "COAST" on the theme of the Sussex Coast, this is one of my lighter and brighter works! The painting shows a sandy beach, chalk pebbles and a shoal of sardines swimming along. Inspired by the beach 5 minutes walk from where I live in Sussex.
This painting is in acrylic paint with glitter on a deep edged box canvas.
