Artist's Description

I enjoy trying out paint effects and have a particular interest in stone. I have tried the 'trompe l'oeil' effect on an unfolded poster of a poppy, pinned to a 'stone' wall. Poppies are such short-lived flowers - they need to be preserved in paintings!
