 Welcome to my gallery!I was born at the latter end of World War 2, long before television was invented, and so drawing and painting for me was a most enjoyable pastime. And living in such a beautiful country much of my inspiration comes from nature itself. When I look around me at the landscape in all the seasons, I want to take up my brushes and paint. The nearby coast with its breath-taking seas, and vivid sunsets, presents another invitation to capture its mood. I have no formal training, but this doesn’t deter me from the challenge of painting animals and wildlife, I have had commissions, not only to capture pets, but also houses, a children’s hospice, churches, one for a centenary celebration, the other for a 25th wedding anniversary gift. Last but not least a Triumph motorbike, this was for a special birthday present, all these can be seen in my gallery. I work with most mediums, oils, acrylic and pastels; each has its own unique character which helps to create the painting I do hope you find pleasure from looking through them.
