Geoffrey Fletcher
Artist's Biography

Geoff was born in the North East, a native of Middlesbrough,and spent many years in London and then Humberside.
By profession a Chartered Shipbroker and Freight Forwarder, now semi-retired,most of his painting has been done during holidays ( Honfleur a special favourite) until recently when 11 months a year at home enabled him to put together a mixed collection suitable for exhibiting, rather than by commission only.
Recently his industrial scenes, in particular of the Steel Industry and Chemical Plants on Teesside, have proved popular as retirement presents...several commissions have been completed this past year - both Industrial & Marine.
His Industrial work now appears on the walls of such diverse buildings as the Department of Engineering, The University of Limerick, City Design Studios at Bondi Beach and The Chief Constables office North Yorkshire Police Authority. Whilst many of his seascapes and views of North Yorkshire, especially Roseberry Topping, have been bought by 'expatriates' as memory joggers.
