Geoffrey Fletcher
Geoffrey had a love of the sea and the moods surrounding both ships and their environment. His early days on the River Tees with a sketchpad developed further when he moved to London during the 'swinging sixties'. His favoured technique is a comprehensive 'wet on wet' style which is used with both watercolours and acrylics. He now lives in a small village in North Yorkshire.
He regrets he is NOT the Geoffrey Scowcroft Fletcher of 'The Daily Telegraph' and author of many books in the '60s and 70's. This artist died about two years ago.
