About My Art
At the moment I am drawing Black and White with pastels and acrylics mainly, although my favorite medium is oil on canvas I love the way oil is liquid under the brush, oil allows you to think of each brush stroke but the long working period can be very time consuming whilst with pastels and acrylics you get instant gratification I find inspiration in many ways and have sketch books around the the house the way writers carry note books my subjects are from many areas, moments I remember from my childhood others are from the colours of a sunset a song that i hear. There are so many things that I see and hear that are inspiring in one way or another. When I think about my art I am always imagining my next painting or the one after that, there are so many things that cry out to be painted and I want to paint them all. I can paint and draw in all mediums, pastels, oil, watercolours, acrylics and pencil. My artistic style ranges from the classic portrait to abstract seascapes. I will gladly take commissions on any subject and in any medium or style, if you can imagine it I can paint it.
