Brigit Collins
 A gallery of vibrant contemporary paintings by Brigit Collins. Brigit uses acrylic gouache on canvas to create images of London local to her, as well as seaside towns, that are both representational and eye catching.
"My paintings are greatly influenced by the work of artists such as the photographer Martin Parr and the painter Edward Hopper. Each of my paintings has a central focus to them, often a building. The paintings depict scenes that I see on my travels to work or whilst on holiday and contain elements that would normally be considered drab and uninteresting, but for me, when viewed on a brilliant sunny day are striking and uplifting".
Some paintings are available in print format. Giclee prints are printed on 'art' etching paper and the digital c type prints are more photographic in quality. Please feel free to contact the artist to discuss details.
