Anna Conversano
 I first took up painting while living in Egypt for a couple of years. The country, the people and my experience there, a mixture of harshness, spirituality and beauty, inspired me. Also, I had a fantastic local teacher who was demanding, hyper-critical but also a great motivator. Having been back in the UK for a few years, I was resolved not to let this expressive side of me slip through the cracks of daily routine!
