This painting shows a group of trees in their autumn glory, on a metallic gold sky. The style is impressionistic and loose, and the ground is textured. The work is painted with high quality artist’s acrylics onto a quality gallery wrapped deep box canvas. The sides are staple and pin free, with the sides painted a warm neutral black. The work is protected with special artists varnish.
Please note that due to its light reflective qualities, it is hard to capture the colour and luminosity accurately with a camera. It also means that the painting changes in different light: and is captivating by candlelight.
