Paintings from England and Wales. These paintings are mainly of the Peak District and the Lake District where I seem to spend a lot of time these days. I have painted scenes which I enjoyed at the time.

I spend quite a lot of time in Scotland. As a family our children spent many holidays on Islay and now we visit friends in other parts of the highlands. Visits to Ireland have been impressive but few.

Paintings from Europe, North America, Antarctica and Australia. I am lucky to be able to spend a lot of time travelling. You realise how many beautiful places there are.

Panoramic photographs of views in the Peak District. The maximimum size they can can be printed to is shown. Smaller sized prints can be made. Living on the edge of the Peak District allows me to see it in its different moods.

Using a digital camera and photographic software has opened a new area of photography to me. I don't plan to take the photographs. If the occasion arises I hope I have the camera ready.

The most exciting time taking these photographs was the day on Helvelyn above the cloud. I was deep frost in the valleys but well above freezing on the tops.

Panoramic photographs from Australia and New Zealand. These countries have so much to offer. The painters and photographers there produce some beautiful art work.

Panoramic photographs from from Svalbard and Siberia. Having lived in northern North America for a few years the cold becomes something of visual excitement to me. I enjoy the isolated communities and open expanse of the north and south.
