 Hello and welcome to my gallery.
It is the atmosphere of a scene that initially inspires me, not necessarily the subject itself, although I find myself naturally drawn to the rural landscapes of Britain and especially her coastal areas when seeking that atmosphere.
I've been painting with watercolour for 5 years now and I feel as though my apprenticeship with this medium is still very much in its infancy. Like all watercolourists I sometimes find it's unpredictability a bit baffling, but more often that not it is this uncertainty that makes painting with this medium an exciting and very rewarding activity.
